HGV and LGV Stakeholders

In collaboration with the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency, the following HGV and PCV stakeholder groups help govern this website.

National Register of LGV Instructors (NIR)

The NIR is led by the road transport industry and is the only Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) endorsed instructor and assessor register developed by the industry for the industry.

The not-for-profit register oversees the standards and future development of the register. Validated by the DVSA, the National Register exists simply to improve and monitor LGV (often called HGV) instructor and assessor standards, ensuring professionalism and a high standard of training in our industry.
