1. Identity of data controller

TSO respects the privacy of every individual whose personal information it handles. This Privacy Policy explains how TSO collects, stores and uses personal information.

“TSO" means The Stationery Office Limited, having its registered office at 55 Wells Street, London, W1A 3EA or any of its subsidiaries or related companies.

TSO is the “controller” of personal information collected through https://www.safedrivingforlife.info/, https://www.dvsalearningzone.co.uk/ and platforms (together, the “Site”), the official DVSA mobile applications, phone calls and social media interactions for the purposes of applicable data protection laws, and is the company you should contact if you have questions about the use of your personal information (see the “Contact Us” section below).

For the purposes of applicable legislation, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation, as amended or supplemented (the “Data Protection Laws”), the TSO group company that you have dealings with is the controller of your personal information.

2. Relationship between TSO and the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA)

TSO is the official publisher for the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA). TSO hosts, manages and fulfils orders made through this Site on behalf of the DVSA. Personal information we collect about you including: your name, email address and item(s) purchased may, to a limited extent be shared with DVSA for the purpose of transitioning the running of DVSA’s website, and the provision of related services, to a third party in the event that TSO and DVSA choose to end their arrangement.

We may process your personal information using data centers located inside the European Union and data centers located outside the European Union.
