The Motorbike Trainer Knowledge Centre covers the skills, knowledge and understanding you’ll need to deliver a successful programme of rider training, as described in the National standard for driver and rider training.

The National standard for driver and rider training has been created by the Driving Standards Agency (DVSA) sets out what you need to do as an approved driving instructor (ADI), motorbike instructor or instructor trainer.

You should also read DVSA’s compulsory basic training (CBT) syllabus and guidance notes and direct access scheme motorbike training guidance, which provide guidance on how to deliver these courses.
