The Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) Job Preview will help you find out

  • what it means to be a ADI
  • whether you're suitable for this kind of work
  • your level of understanding of driving theory and practice.

You can do this through the completion of three assessments

  • Part 1 assesses your expectations of the ADI job
  • Part 2 assesses the match between you, personally, and the ADI job
  • Part 3 assesses your current level of understanding of driving theory and practice.

Instructions on how to do the assessments are given at the start of each part. It should take you about 20 minutes to complete all three parts but there's no time limit. After you've finished all three parts, your responses will be scored and you'll be given feedback.
